The adjustable spring preload allows fine-tuning for personalized comfort, while the ride-height adjustment feature, which can raise or lower the bike by approximately ½ inch from the stock height, ensures optimal ground clearance and handling. Installation is straightforward, mounting with existing hardware; however, shocks shorter than OEM length may reduce travel, impacting ride quality and handling. Lowered setups can decrease ground clearance and cornering ability, so it is important to confirm that wheel travel and clearance are adequate before installation. These shocks are not compatible with rear lowering kits and may require custom mounting on models with OEM-style offset shocks. Note that OE upper shock mount covers will not fit these shocks.
