These premium 13-inch shocks feature nitrogen-charged steel monotube damper bodies with hard chrome-plated shafts, ensuring consistent performance and resistance to corrosion. The dual-rate progressive wound springs provide a smooth and comfortable ride by adapting to varying road conditions, while the adjustable spring preload allows for fine-tuning suspension stiffness based on rider preference and load. The ride-height is adjustable within approximately +/- 1/2 inch from the listed size, enabling customization for better ground clearance and handling.

Compatible with a wide range of Harley-Davidson touring models, including Road King, Street Glide, Electra Glide, and Ultra Limited, these shocks are designed for straightforward installation using existing hardware. It is important to note that shocks shorter than the original equipment length may reduce travel, which could affect motorcycle handling and ride quality. Lowering the motorcycle will also decrease ground and cornering clearance. Before installation, verify that your wheel travel can accommodate the shorter shocks without causing clearance issues such as swingarm or axle contact with exhaust, chain or belt guard, or tires. OE upper shock mount covers are not compatible with these shocks, and they are not suited for use with rear lowering kits. Custom mounting may be necessary on models with OEM-style offset mount shocks to ensure proper fit and function.
