These shocks are low riding at approximately 10.5 inches from center to center on the shock eyelets, making them suitable for riders seeking a lowered stance. The chrome finish on the springs and damper bodies, coupled with clear anodized billet aluminum endcaps and eyelets, ensures a stylish appearance that complements your motorcycle's aesthetic. Designed to mount with existing hardware, installation is straightforward for most riders. Please note that lowering the motorcycle reduces ground and cornering clearance, so ensure your wheel travel and clearance are adequate to prevent contact issues with the swingarm, axle, exhaust, chain or belt guard, and tires. These shocks are compatible with Harley FXD models from 1991 to 2017, but OEM upper shock mount covers will not fit, and they are not suitable for use with rear lowering kits. Custom mounting may be necessary on models with OEM-style offset mount shocks, especially if modifications are intended to achieve a specific ride height or clearance.
