Wide band quarter wave antenna with shock spring. Bandwidth of 24 MHz in VHF, 100 MHz in UHF. Shock spring makes it ideal for heavy duty equipment vehicles.
Although not required, a ground plane is recommended.
For optimal performance, cut and tune this antenna to a single specified frequency.
